Et une fois que le point de non retour a été franchi, il est dévastateur. Le champ des émotions exprimées par Kjiel est immense : colère, détresse et déprime hantent chacun de ses cris ; ses chuchotements traduisent une fatigue qui ne pourra jamais être soulagée — je comprends mieux pourquoi Imber Luminis a travaillé avec Eyelessight. Magnifique.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
